While most CrossFit athletes come looking for exercise then learn about nutrition, Melissa came to CrossFit by way of making dietary changes through the Paleo Diet. Since then, she set off to gain as much knowledge possible about health, fitness and nutrition. She is passionate about passing on all that she’s learned to help the Glass City CrossFit athletes achieve their goals.

Trevor Toney

Trevor’s CrossFit story isn’t unique in the CrossFit community, but his athletic background sets him apart. For much of his life, he’s been a weight room junkie while participating in a variety of sports. Post high school athletics, Trevor took up martial arts to feed his competitive nature. In 2011, he reached the rank of Shodan in Jujitsu and Judo. The training that he thrived on served as a natural transition to CrossFit style workouts. Trevor quickly found that high-intensity functional fitness is the best way to supplement any sport. He has experienced in himself and his athletes tremendous gains in fitness and quality of life that he wishes to impart to the Glass City CrossFit community.

Paul is known in our community as being an exceptional CrossFit athlete but more importantly, an exceptional CrossFit coach. Paul brings many years of personal training experience to the gym and enjoys sharing his knowledge with the members. He feeds off of the energy and eagerness of the athletes of Glass City CrossFit. He truly appreciates the passion they have to learn and become better.

Zach Crampton

After CrossFitting on his own, Zach came to Glass City CrossFit looking for community and a competitive atmosphere. While he made gains on his own, being a part of Glass City CrossFit has greatly improved his athleticism more than training on his own could have. Zach is an accomplished Olympic weightlifter; he qualified for the 2015 American Open. As a coach, he loves to provide a welcome and competitive atmosphere; the same he came seeking when he first came to Glass City CrossFit.

Mike Morran

Mike’s background in science and education makes him a natural CrossFit coach. While he didn’t play sports growing up, he got a dose of reality when he was involved in a car accident that put 2 permanent pins in his hip. He realized how important it was to keep his one body fit and healthy.

What Mike appreciates most about his coaching is effort and drive the Glass City CrossFit’s athletes demonstrate to improve and put out their best.

Kyle Riffle

Kyle Riffle

Kyle is passionate about helping athletes break barriers and PRs (personal records). He feels that no matter how experienced of an athlete you are, every goal set and reached is a reason to celebrate.

Kyle was an All Ohio Track and Field athlete in the 100 m and 400 m dash, and was active all his life. He began CrossFit as a way to regain the feeling of training and competing with high-intensity.
