Hi! I’m from a small town in Defiance. I originally started a career in nursing, and soon found my passion for fitness during a boot camp class at a random gym. I then decided to pursue my personal training certification to broaden my horizon with fitness. My husband was actually the one who brought me to CrossFit for the first time. I did NOT fall in love at first “lift,” however, I always like a challenge. Eventually, I decided to get CrossFit level 1 certification, followed by the USA Weightlifting certification. I absolutely love every single part of CrossFit and everything that it stands for. I’m proud to be Glass City Strong 💪🏾

When did you first start CrossFitting?
2014

What got you into coaching?
I wanted to share my love for CrossFit in a leadership role. I love coaching, and getting everyone hyped for the workout.

Coaching Certifications / Experience
Prior to Glass City group classes, I did one on one training sessions at a commercial gym, lead a beginners boot camp, and an endurance class.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit?
I started out as a stick figure, weighing in at 115lbs, 5’7″ after my first son. Slowly, but surely I stacked on about 20lbs of mass, with approximately the same body fat percent.
